The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, highlighted the role of the National Assembly in the political, economic and social transformation of the nation:
“74 laws of great impact have been approved by the National Assembly to create new job opportunities, to rebuild the economy, recover the social welfare state and expand the political rights and freedoms of Venezuela,” he highlighted during a meeting held this Thursday with deputies of the Homeland Block.
In this context, the National President highlighted that since January 5, 2021 – the date on which the new National Assembly was sworn in – a stage of institutional reconstruction began in the country, which has guaranteed integral recovery and peace.
“2021, 2022, 2023 has meant the beginning of a process of recovery and integral growth of our country as a society, of our economy and of many aspects of the social life of our people,” he stressed.
The Dignitary congratulated the Venezuelan people, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and the National Assembly for their perseverance, loyalty and discipline:
“The Venezuelan society today has a direction, it has consensus, it has a model, it has a vision on which we must persevere to find our own path, to walk on our own feet, to think with our own head and to build with our own vision,” emphasized the Venezuelan Head of State and Government.
