COVID: Venezuela registered 635 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 635 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which three cases are imported from Panama (2) and Turkey (1), bringing the confirmed accumulated total to 534,014 cases.

The cases registered today are located in: Miranda (270), Caracas (127), Yaracuy (55), Zulia (45), Bolívar (44), La Guaira (41), Sucre (12), Carabobo (9), Anzoátegui (8), Barinas (6), Amazonas (5), Aragua (4), Lara (1), Táchira (1), Monagas (1), Mérida (1), Nueva Esparta (1) and Falcón (1).

This was announced this Monday by the Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 864 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers the figure at 5,757 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 523,492 and there are 4,765 current active cases.
