The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), ratified on Monday Nicolás Maduro as president of this political organization during a working meeting of the plenary session of the 4th Congress of PSUV, at the Alba hotel, in Caracas.
“This gives him all the faculties, powers and authority necessary to appoint the national leadership, the decisions of the party structure, to ensure that these 4 years of hard war against our people the PSUV is up to the circumstances”, expressed the first vice president of the party, Diosdado Cabello, during the plenary of the Congress.
In a broadcast by VTV, he added that this decision was unanimous and shared in each of the 12 work tables installed in the plenary of the congress:
“He -Maduro- has shown a great capacity to listen, and many times to change the decisions that he has to change and that condition has made that, within the congress, that arose in an impressive strength to give to our partner; to reaffirm him”, he said.
