Bulgaria-Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship Group expressed support for MAY-20 elections

The Deputy Minister for Europe, Yván Gil, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Bulgaria-Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship Group, to discuss the current situation of the country.

The meeting was attended by Miglena Alexandrova (Ataka Party), Georgi Gyokov (Socialist Party) and Alexandar Paunov (Socialist Party), who expressed full support for the Venezuelan process and the elections of May 20, as reported the embassy of Venezuela in Bulgaria on the Twitter social network.

As part of the agenda, Gil was also in the live program “Good Morning Bulgaria”, of the Alfa TV station. On Monday, the deputy minister also met with the director of Africa and Middle East of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Phillip Ackermann.

At the meeting, which also involved the Venezuelan ambassador in Germany, Orlando Maniglia, a bilateral and medium-term work agenda was built and opinions were exchanged on the Venezuelan reality, the strengths of the electoral system and the elections of 20 May, as indicated the Ministry for Communication and Information on its website.
