José Vicente Rangel denounces US plan to attack Venezuelan military bases

From the Eglin Air Base in Florida, the United States, is being planned an attack on Venezuelan territory against the military bases of Palo Negro (Aragua), Puerto Cabello (Carabobo) and Barcelona (Anzoategui), as denounced on Sunday the journalist and political analyst, José Vicente Rangel
“From the Eglin Air Base, located in South Florida, an aggression is planned in case of hypothesis of an attack on Venezuelan territory against the military bases in Palo Negro, Aragua state, Agustín Armario in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state and in Barcelona , Anzoátegui state”, said Rangel during the “Confidentials” section of his program “José Vicente Hoy” ( José Vicente Today), broadcast by Televen.
Similarly, Rangel reported that US military sources leaked information related to the mobilization of troops, including the installation of two aircraft carriers on the island of Curaçao.
On the other hand, the journalist pointed out that with the purpose of putting pressure on Venezuela, since January 10 when the President of the Republic of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, was sworn in for a second term, the presence of of “irregular Colombians” in the border Zulia and Tachira states.
Likewise, the analyst asserted that the self-styled Lima Group has practically disappeared, due to the mistake made in the statement issued in recent days in relation to Venezuela, where thanks to the Venezuelan State’s protest there was a rectification of the majority of the members of that group.
“The clumsy inclusion in the communiqué of the Lima group of the paragraph condemning the action of Venezuela in rejection of the violation of the national territory by two Exxon Movil ships in activity sponsored by the Government of Guyana, was the work of Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and the pressure of Senator Marco Rubio and OAS Secretary General, Luis Almagro. The opportune Venezuelan protest provoked a rectification of the majority of the members of this group and practically their disappearance”, said José Vicente Rangel.
