Authorities in China and Venezuela signed energy cooperation agreements at an event held this Thursday at the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas.
The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the President of the state-owned Petróleos de Venezuela, Eulogio del Pino, welcomed at Miraflores Palace to the President of the National Petroleum Corporation of China (CNPC) to sign agreements on oil matters
In the agreement was taken the decision «to continue the investment in the Najayo refinery, which is under construction in China, and which will have the capacity to process 400,000 barrels of oil per day, of which 70% of those barrels will be for Venezuela , from our joint ventures», said Del Pino.
This was reported during the ceremony of signing of agreements between Venezuela and China, held at Miraflores Palace in Caracas.
