Iran and Venezuela make an 80% advance in developing areas of economic cooperation

The co-president of the Iran-Venezuela High Level Joint Commission, M/G Ramón Velásquez Araguayan, reported that, of the more than 298 agreements established between both nations, there has been made an 80% advance in the 17 areas of cooperation that are currently being consolidated based on various economic cooperation projects.

In this sense, the Minister of People’s Power for Transportation also detailed the achievements that have been obtained with the ties of brotherhood and strategies between Caracas and Tehran, among which are:

– The formation of the Venezuela-Iran Economic Integration Chamber, where all Venezuelan and Iranian businessmen converge, who will contribute to the promotion of economic cooperation and the exchange of products from both countries.

– The growth that has been seen in the last two years in terms of transportation, with the incorporation of the Iranian fleet of vehicles, of which more than 4,000 have been sold.

– The manufacture of components in Venezuela, through the Ministry for Industries, in order to increase the percentage of production in Venezuela and the export capacity in terms of vehicle assembly.

– In terms of tourism, creating new strategies to increase the number of flights and thus give stability to the lines and air bridges that connect Venezuela with Tehran.

– Regarding technology, he reported that an Iranian businessman wants to equip 50 schools for learning artificial intelligence.

Along the same lines, the Co-President of the commission highlighted that beyond a commercial task between both countries, with this a strategic relationship has been achieved that increases and strengthens every day for the benefit of the peoples of Venezuela and Iran.
