The president of the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Rodríguez, stated “The more sanctions you threaten Venezuela with, the same will be our response: we are going to defeat you again and again in all areas.”
Through his account on the Twitter social network, @jorgerpsuv, the parliamentarian responded to James Story, United States’s ambassador to Venezuela, who stated that his country, along with Canada and the European Union, are preparing new sanctions against Venezuela, in the event that there are no results in the negotiation.

The president of the National Assembly said that Venezuela will not respond to pressure and Venezuelans do not care about the opinion of foreigners because the dialogue is between Venezuelans.
He reminded the US official that in our country on November 21, 2021, there will be held free elections, in which the candidates of the Unitary Platform, formerly the Democratic Unity board, will participate.
