Day 937| Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 18 new infections in the last 24 hours

A total of 18 cases of COVID-19 infections were detected in the last 24 hours, bringing the confirmed total to 544,950, 555 active cases, while the number of recovered patients stands at 538,577, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Saturday by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through her account on the Twitter social network, @delcyrodriguezv.

She reported that the community cases are located in the states Miranda (13), Carabobo (3), Yaracuy (1) and Bolívar (1).

Miranda presents the highest number of infections (13) in five of its 21 municipalities: Lander (5), Baruta (4), Sucre (2); among others.

In week 134 and day 937 of the pandemic in Venezuela, these are its general statistics:

Total infections: 544,950.

Recovered patients: 538,577 (99%).

Current active cases: 555.

Total deceased: 5,818.
