COVID: Venezuela registered 71 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 71 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of these seven arrived from Panama (5) and Turkey (2), to register 525,176 cases as the accumulated confirmed in the country until today.

The community cases registered today are located in Caracas (22), Yaracuy (19), Miranda (6), Guárico (6), Bolívar (4), Zulia (3), Carabobo (2), La Guaira (1) and Táchira (1).

This was announced this Wednesday by the Sectoral Vice President for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the customary daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

On day 829 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country records the figure of 5,725 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 517,922 and there are 1,529 current active cases.
