More than 214,000 disinfection journeys has carried out the GMVB in the country

A total of 214,600 disinfection journeys have been carried out since last year to date in the country, as part of the purposes of the Great Mission Venezuela Bella (GMVB) to prevent infections by Covid-19.

Likewise, in the first two weeks of January 2021, 5,040 disinfections were carried out, as reported the president of the GMVB, Jackeline Farias.

The also head of Government of the Capital District, explained that in each task the spaces are disinfected with hypochlorite to eliminate the SARS-coV-2 molecule.

She added that in these new activities carried out in the Capital District, investigations have been incorporated to detect suspicious cases in conjunction with the Mayor’s Office of Caracas and Civil Protection (PC), as well as other organizations.

For his part, the Vice Minister of Risk Management and Civil Protection, Eduardo Hurtado, indicated that the officials are deployed together with members of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) for preventive work against the pandemic.

Likewise, the director of the Great Mission Barrio Adentro, Gloria Contreras, stressed that they have been deployed together with other institutions and doctors in a house-to-house, to detect possible cases of Covid-19, highlighting that are available 46 integral community health areas in Caracas.
