Venezuela receives support at Ibero-American Summit for the dialogue process

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that the countries that participated in the 25th Latin American Summit, which ended on Saturday in Colombia, supported the dialogue process driven since January this year in favor of peace and the National development.
“In the private conversations what Venezuela had has been a support for the dialogue promoted by President Maduro, in support of UNASUR and the Vatican,” she said in statements at her departure from the meeting.
The Chancellor suggested to the President of Peru, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, to take off the suit “of an American entrepreneur, and to see more the reality of the peoples of Latin America, the peoples of South America. There is a lot of social debt in Peru (…) Do remove this suit of entrepreneur and begin to govern for your people “, in a response to the interventionist statements made by the Peruvian President.
Rodriguez confirmed the will of the National Executive to establish an agenda for dialogue with the opposition sectors. “We thank to Pope Francis, who has sent a special envoy to accompany precisely in the Sunday session, and President Maduro has said: Come rain or shine I will be participating in this event,” she said.
She said that despite the position that has assumed the national and international right wing, she appreciates that the dialogue process “is important for understanding and should be within the framework of respect for national sovereignty.”
