COVID: Venezuela registers 241 new cases in the last 24 hours

241 new cases of COVID-19, 6 of them imported from Panama (4) and Spain (29), were registered in Venezuela in the last 24 hours, of which Carabobo is the entity with the highest number of cases in 6 of its 14 municipalities for a total of 47 cases, followed by Miranda with 31, Lara with 28, Táchira with 27, Caracas with 19, Sucre with 18 and Yaracuy state with 15 cases.

8 Venezuelans died from Coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 5,299 deceases to date.

646 days after confirming the first case of Covid-19 in Venezuela, 442,178 is the total number of infections, with 430,691 recovered patients and 6,188 current active cases.

Vaccination has been accelerated in the country under instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, which is why Venezuelans are called to go to the vaccination centers without needing a prior appointment in order to complete their immunization process.
