The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led this Wednesday a productive journey where he called on producers and agro-producers to produce in the fields to make the country economically independent, he stressed that for this a lot of political stability is needed.
He assured that it is necessary to remember in any process the 9 vertices of the Great Mission AgroVenezuela, “we must remember the 9 vertices of the Great Mission AgroVenezuela for the people and retake the integrating concept of the conuco (small field crops),” he said.
He explained that he is fully committed to developing all the productive forces of Venezuela, and stressed that we must support them all.
Maduro emphasized the need to apply the Anti-Blockade Law in all the country’s productive processes: “This tool now allows us everything, investors come to us, productive projects do come, do come from all over Venezuela,” he said.
He recalled that Venezuela is experiencing the most criminal blockade in history, yet it has managed to continue producing, “the way to unblock Venezuela is with the Anti-Blockade Law and with work, with productivity,” he said.
“We must think that Venezuela has played a vanguard role for Latin America and the Caribbean. Today marks the 15th anniversary of the victory in Mar de Plata with the overthrow of the FTAA.”
“Thanks to the Anti-Blockade Law, we will have the necessary instruments to establish strategic alliances with sister countries; thus guaranteeing industrial recovery and the growth of national production, ” he clarified.
During the day, the “Hombre de Maíz” Pasta Plant was inaugurated in the Antonio José de Sucre municipality in Barinas state, which has an hourly operating capacity of 500 kilograms, with the presentation of pasta in screws and macaroni in packages of a kilo and half a kilo.
“In this 2021 we will have constant economic growth thanks to the Anti-Blockade Law. Rest assured that better times will come for our country, ” said the national president.
In the same way, the reception of the harvest began at the Agrocojedes silos plant as part of the “Winter Cycle 2020 Planting Plan” that is being developed in that plains region. This Plant has an installed milling capacity of 3,500 tons per day and a refining capacity of 120 tons.
As a sign of his commitment to the working class, he handed over to the working forces the Santa Clara Sugar Central in Yaracuy state, to be administered by the working class.
Likewise, the Head of State announced an alliance with the private company where 246 tons of tuna were unloaded from the “Amazonas” vessel that will be distributed to the Venezuelan population as part of the National Protein Plan for Fishing and Aquaculture that is being developed in Sucre state.
In Portuguesa state, were opened the floodgates of the “Las Majaguas” irrigation system; the second largest in the country with a capacity of more than 2,000 liters per second. With this system, more than 8,500 hectares with optimal management of water resources will be guaranteed for planting in the municipalities of San Rafael de Onoto, Agua Blanca and Páez.
