President Maduro called on all sectors of the country to sign the peace agreement

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called on all social and political sectors to sign the agreement on peace and political coexistence, and he recommended to all Venezuelans after the Carnival break «To reflect on the right to live by and for happiness».

As it might be recalled, President Nicolás Maduro signed on Wednesday the agreement for peace and the peaceful coexistence that resulted from the dialogue with the opposition, held in the Dominican Republic.

For several days, representatives of the Government and the opposition held meetings in the Dominican Republic to sign an agreement of coexistence and peace that on Wednesday the opposition leadership refused to endorse with their signature, likewise it was indicated that the head of the opposition delegation, Julio Borges, did not sign the agreement because «foreign forces forbade it.»

Given this fact, he regretted that the Venezuelan opposition sectors do not have leaders who are responsible to their own word: «Venezuela needs all sectors to have leaders», he said.

After signing the aforementioned document, he ordered the Minister of Communication and Information and head of the delegation for the Government before the dialogue, Jorge Rodríguez, to make it public.
