“Maximum alert”: President Maduro calls on the FANB to defeat right wing’s threats

During the celebration of the 211th anniversary of the signing of the Venezuelan Independence Act and the day of our glorious Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the Commander-in-Chief of the FANB, Nicolás Maduro Moros, called on the FANB to protect and guard the people from the threats of the fascist right wing, and to be vigilant against the coup pretensions of the outgoing ruler of Colombia, Ivan Duque.

Likewise, he stressed that today the people are preparing to march to celebrate the birth of the Homeland, in this sacred land and to endorse the oath to defend it with their lives if necessary.

The head of state, Nicolas Maduro, reported: “This 2022 I had the joy and honor of promoting 15.319 (military) men and women who have consecrated their lives to the service of the Homeland, from one of its fundamental pillars; the FANB.”
