Venezuela denounces coup in Brazil and entrenches in defense of Latin America

Venezuela raised its voice in support Dilma Rousseff and in solidarity with the Brazilian people, after the Congress of that nation approved the impeachment against the President, a process which is interpreted as a parliamentarian Coup d’ Etat.
In a public event from the city of Caracas, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, warned of the threat that this event looms on the continent.
According to his assessment, it is an imperial onslaught intended to end with the Governments of a social character for, instead, to impose repressive systems that violate the will of the people.
“The Bolivarian Venezuela gets in solidarity with President Dilma Rousseff, with the people of Brazil; repudiates and denounces the parliamentary Coup d’ Etat (…) Venezuela is again the great trench of the peoples of the Americas”, said Maduro.
He reminded the revolutionaries of the region on their obligation to overcome the imperial aggressions, because it is a plan that threatens to “all the peoples of the Americas” alike.
