The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Tuesday that the booster vaccine against covid-19 will begin to be applied every four months after the last dose, with the aim of stopping the spreading of the virus.
During his participation in the journey of balance of the national health system, held from Miraflores Palace, the Head of State explained that the COVID-19 Therapeutic Committee, after the corresponding monitoring and analysis, recommends the adoption of an application scheme of the booster vaccine every four months:
“It seems pertinent to me that, starting this week, we assume the booster vaccine after four months after the complete vaccine schedule. In Venezuela, the booster vaccine will begin to be applied every four months to guarantee the health of the Venezuelan people,” he pointed out.
