President Maduro reiterates his call for a political dialogue in Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated his call for a political dialogue to eradicate the violent practices deployed by the opposition sectors to alter the public order.

“I call on all those sensitive people, with an idea of democracy … to give our best, to isolate the violent ones and defeat them with a great national cause, so in Venezuela prevails democracy, tolerance, I keep on calling to dialogue. ”

He said that only with the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) can be established the true dialogue.

“They have refused to speak, they do not want to speak, that is why I convened the ANC as a great forum, as the great instance of dialogue where Venezuelans participate beyond the elites, where the ordinary citizen participates”, he said. .

During the presentation of the National Award for Journalism, held at Miraflore Palace, the National Head of State denounced that these sectors maintain a psychological war against the Venezuelan people, with the intention of triggering a civil war.

“They are fools, they do not know what they are doing … you, sirs of the MUD have started an escalation towards a civil war, and we the good Venezuelans are not going to allow it, we are going to put up with all that escalation, we are going to defeat you. and in Venezuela is going to impose peace, freedom, democracy, harmony, tolerance and love”, he said.

He also said that only in Revolution can be built the Homeland for everyone, where all the social sectors of the country are reunited.

“We all fit in if the Revolution continues at command, if the revolution guarantees, as we have guaranteed for 18 years, the democracy, freedom, participation, starring, tolerance and debate of ideas”.

The Head of State affirmed that no political actor of the opposition could exercise the Presidency of the Republic, after evidencing their violent practices against the people.

“What would they do from the central political power? There would begin a persecution and an indiscriminate, blind hunting against all good Venezuelans that did not bend to their fascist ideas. In Venezuela would be imposed a dictatorship of intolerance, hatred, persecution, for racial reasons, of skin color, of ideas”, he said.
