The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called on the Attorney General of the Republic, Luisa Ortega Díaz, to recover the balance and guarantee justice against the vandalism acts orchestrated by the Venezuelan right wing.
During a press conference with national and international media, Maduro said: «Mrs. Luisa Ortega already went to the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), this means she believes in the TSJ … the Supreme Court has already decided, now it must be respected and accepted the decision of the highest court of justice».
«What I think is that Mrs. Luisa Ortega must regain her balance, pick up her monsters, because the march she did on Monday had never been seen in the country, that people who work with her have gone out to taste that they are going to overthrow the Government», he added.
He maintained that «If the Attorney General of the Republic wants to get into the direct political diatribe, because she has aspirations to become the presidential candidate of the self-called Board of Democratic Unity, then she must make the right decisions for that … but you can not use (for this purpose) an institution so delicate for a country».
