The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Sunday that, thanks to information from cooperators in various scenarios, it was possible to detect that the key date of the Coup against the Bolivarian Government and the people was to be December 16.
“It was the date to gather all the pressures, decisions, the perversity of the coup, and the neutral coup was to disappear the 100 bolivars bill,” said the Head of State during his program “Contacto con Maduro nuestro Presidente” (Contact with Maduro Our President), broadcast from Miraflores Palace in Caracas.
In this sense, he added, “We already had a week like that, they were selling 100 bolivars bills in the streets of Cucuta, of Maicao, there are photos, there are evidences, and the Colombian Government did nothing.”
The President said that before this onslaught, the revolutionary offensive began a week ago: “Today I can say that this revolutionary counter-offensive has victoriously crowned thanks to the majority, peaceful and conscientious support of the people of Venezuela who understood the measure, accompanied it; Mission accomplished, Venezuela!”.
Regarding the result of the measures taken against the economic mafias, he detailed that so far are in the country 4,494 million of 100 bolivars bills, which constitutes an 80 percent of the monetary mass of this banknote.
