Venezuela expects the best relations of respect with the United States


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed the Bolivarian Government’s willingness to establish the best relations of respect with the President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump.
“I aspire, I hope and I will work, because I hope that in the next US Presidency with Donald Trump, the Bolivarian Venezuela, independent, sovereign, of peace, revolutionary, will have the best relations of respect with the United States of North America” expressed the President during his program “Contacto con Maduro” (Contact with Maduro) number 73, broadcast this Sunday from La Victoria, Aragua state.
The Head of State advocated for a relationship of respect, especially to the self-determination of the people of Venezuela to develop its own model with sovereignty and independence.
He stressed that the people of Venezuela expects that will be corrected the mistakes made against our nation since the presidency of George W. Bush, and which were deepened by outgoing US President Barack Obama.
He announced that he would send a letter to Obama to request, before he hands over his mandate, to repeal the decree declaring Venezuela as an “unusual and extraordinary threat.”
“We are not a threat, Obama, we are hope, we are a Homeland, we are Bolivar, this is Venezuela” emphasized the National President.
