Venezuela will become a great food exporter for the world

From the 1st Expo “Venezuela Produce 2024”, which is taking place in Araure, Portuguesa state, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, asserted that “the country will become a powerful food exporter for South America and the world! Write that down!!”

Likewise, the head of state expressed that Venezuela has managed to produce 97 percent of the food the people requires, a milestone that had not been recorded in 120 years of a model that depended on oil sales, and that also marks the path towards the agri-food independence that will allow the Bolivarian nation to be placed as a reference in the production of different items.

He highlighted that, despite external threats, 99 percent of the productive sectors are operational, which has been achieved through the efforts of farmers and producers. In this sense, he stressed that what is to come for the Venezuelan people will be 10 times greater than the goals achieved to date.
