The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, submitted this Tuesday to the Electoral Power for consideration that the second national popular consultation, so that the people can choose their projects from the bases, be held on Sunday, April 27, the date that has been announced to elect governors of Venezuela:
“I have humbly proposed, Jorge Rodríguez, Diosdado (Cabello), Delcy (Rodríguez), to the public powers that correspond to them. There are elections on Sunday, April 27 for governorships, in the 24 governorships of the country, including the first election to elect the first governor or governor of Guayana Essequibo. “A special state created by referendum,” said the President from the Paseo Monumental Los Próceres (The Heroes Stroll), where he joined a massive march on the occasion of the 33rd Anniversary of 4F (February 4, 1992).
“Let’s go with everything, because the Essequibo belongs to Bolívar, to us!” he stressed, explaining that his proposal is to take advantage of April 27, that is, in “(…) the same way that we are voting for the National Assembly, governorships, the second national consultation is held, so that the people can choose in the Communal Circuits the projects for the second quarter of this year,” he explained.
“It is an idea, hopefully it can be logistically achieved,” added the head of State
