This Tuesday, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, assured that Venezuela is ready to collaborate in any investigation that allows determining the link between leaders of the extreme right wing in actions of destabilization against the country.
During the mobilization in commemoration of the 33 years of February 4, 1992, Rodríguez assured that the extreme right is priced to the wishes and designs of the CIA.
Likewise, the parliamentarian detailed that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is an office belonging to the North American Central Intelligence Agency that seeks to finance through alleged non-governmental organizations (NGOs) plans to destabilize Venezuela.
In this regard, Rodriguez explained that Venezuela is ready to negotiate with the US government in order to find out the relationship between radical opposition leaders and the embezzlement of the nation, in addition to destabilizing terrorist plans:
“We are at the service of any investigative body, so that the United States receives from us the evidence we have of the involvement of Juan Guaidó, Leopoldo López, Carlos Vecchio, David Smolanski, Julio Borges, Lester Toledo. They stole money from USAID, and other money was used for the conspiracy and death here in Venezuela,” he said.
Likewise, he assured that those involved will be punished according to the recently approved Simón Bolívar Law against the Blockade, in order to defend national sovereignty. And in addition, the NGOs linked to this case will be investigated as established by the Law of Regulation of Non-Governmental Organizations.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) reported on the investigation into the Venezuelan fugitive from justice Juan Guaidó, as well as the opposition leader Carlos Vecchio. These far-right wing leaders are accused of corruption and embezzlement of at least one billion dollars, provided by USAID and managed between 2018 and 2020.
Files from the United States (US) embassy in Venezuela, which were revealed, indicate that the Venezuelan far-right opponent and fugitive from justice, Carlos Vecchio, would have received 116 million dollars through USAID.
Such funds were delivered during the false “interim government” of Juan Guaidó as “humanitarian aid” to Venezuelans inside Venezuela, through NGOs that actually belong to other politicians and their relatives who live without working abroad.
“The oligarchies will never again have any chance of power in Venezuela”
For his part, he reiterated this Tuesday that “the oligarchies will never again have any chance of power” in Venezuela.
During the march of the ruling party in the city of Caracas, he assured that February 4, 1992 “puts Venezuelan society in another historical context.”
“Venezuela was different from the ‘for now’ of February 4, 1992. Hugo Chavez always had it clear, that is why this transition has had a profound meaning in the values of the Bolivarian revolution, in the values of independence, of sovereignty, of the dignity of the people, of the correction of the gross inequalities that were imposed on the great majorities by the oligarchies,” he said.
He asserted that the concentration of this Tuesday, February 4, means that there is increasingly “more civic-military unity, independence and sovereignty.”
“Never again will the oligarchies, whatever name they have, whatever sign they have, have any chance of power in Venezuela. Here the people came to power and the people remain in power,” he said.
