Allocation of resources for community projects will begin on February 5

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced during the commemoration of the 33rd anniversary of the Popular Civic-Military Rebellion of 4F (FEB-04) that, starting on February 5, resources will be released and delivered to all communal circuits for the execution of priority works demanded by the people:

«We are on the right path,» said the President, highlighting that each project represents a step towards the consolidation of popular power. «This is the moment of true transformation,» he added, reinforcing his call for unity and the constant struggle in favor of the communities.

The announcement was made during the Great March held at the Paseo Monumental Los Próceres (The Heroes Stroll) in Caracas, where the head of state recalled the historic resistance and the struggle of the Venezuelan people for their autonomy and dignity. Maduro recalled how, 33 years ago, the people awoke in defense of their sovereignty, paving the way for the construction of a truly free and independent homeland.

A new era of popular participation and democracy:

In his speech, President Maduro celebrated the success of the first national communal consultation, held on February 2, in which the people exercised their right to decide, with a record turnout: «An example for the world of a true democracy, which gives all power to the people,» he said, stressing that power resides in citizens organized in communal councils and communes, and not in the oligarchy or large interests.

The 4F Rebellion and its legacies:

February 4, 1992 marked a turning point in the history of Venezuela, when a group of brave men and women rose up against an oppressive system. This act of bravery demanded social justice and sowed the seeds of a revolutionary process that continues to flourish today.

Call for unity and hope:

Finally, the head of state called for the consolidation of the independent model and the unity of the people in the face of any adversity. “Fascism is technically knocked out,” he emphasized, transmitting a message of hope and determination. The celebration of this day is a reminder that, despite the challenges, the present and future of Venezuela are in the hands of its people, who claim the right to build their destiny.
