“We Venezuelans are victims of brutal economic aggression, we face a war on the streets with a people who are resisting. For that reason, next Monday in my appearance to the appointment that the National Constituent Assembly has given me, I will announce a set of economic actions”.
This was stated on Thursday by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during the inauguration for the presidential term 2019-2025, in which he referred to the Program for Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity.
During his speech, the Venezuelan head of state, explained that the measures will aim to continue protecting the Venezuelan people more and more and continue to lead the economic battle facing the country.
Among the lines of the Plan for Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity highlights the establishment of fiscal and tax balance, the stabilization of product prices, the defense of the wage of the working class and the strengthening of Petro, Venezuelan cryptocurrency.
