President Maduro highlights massive participation in collecting signatures against US blockade

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted on Thursday the massive participation of the people in the “No More Trump” global campaign, by collecting four million signatures in rejection of the unilateral and coercive measures of the United States Government (USA) against the people of Venezuela:
“We are making history by going massively to sign against imperial aggressions. It is an extraordinary show of conscience and dignity to tell the world that here there is a people determined to be free. 4 million signatures and we are going for more!”, wrote President Maduro, through his Twitter account.
On August 10, the “No More Trump” worldwide campaign began as a way of expressing rejection of US political and economic aggressions against Venezuela by collecting more than 13 million wills, the campaign’s goal. In all the Bolivar Squares of the National territory there are collection points.
Each of the demonstrations will be attached to the document that the National Government will deliver to the United Nations Organization (UN) to denounce the impact of the US measures.
The unilateral and illegal restrictions of the United States affect the Venezuelan economy and the daily life of the population. Through an executive order, the current administration of President Donald Trump makes it difficult for the Bolivarian Government to acquire food and medicines for Venezuelans, negotiate with suppliers, conduct banking operations, and other activities in the international field.
