The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, together with his counterpart from the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia, Vyacheslav Volodin, signed cooperation agreements to expand and strengthen relations between both parliaments, based on respect and the ties of friendship.
It is worth noting that the agreements between Russia and Venezuela have been evident in different strategic areas such as trade, health, tourism, as well as in the defense of the sovereignty of their people.
On this second day of the conference, the president of the Venezuelan Legislative Branch reported, through his social media accounts, about the delegation’s tour of the floating bridge in Zaryadye Park, together with the president of the State Duma.
The Venezuelan delegation is led by deputy Jorge Rodríguez and is accompanied by the second vice president of Parliament, deputy América Pérez (PSUV/Nueva Esparta) and the members of the Venezuela-Russia Parliamentary Friendship Group, deputies Jesús Faría (PSUV/Capital District), Carolina Cestari (PSUV/Capital District) and Grecia Colmenares (PSUV/Mérida), Roy Daza (PSUV/Aragua).
