In October will start face-to-face classes in the country

At a press conference held this Monday in the Ayacucho Hall of Miraflores Palace, President Nicolás Maduro reiterated that he hopes that this second semester will be one of good news for Venezuela.

Among the announcements made to national and international media, he reported that the National Government estimates that will be met, for the month of September, the goal of having vaccinated with its two doses a 70% of the population, in order to start face-to-face classes in the country in October, complying with all biosafety measures:

“It will be a day of great joy,” he expressed.

However, he emphasized that “first we have to complete the entire vaccination process of the entire education sector.”

According to the schedule, the arrival of new batches of vaccines is expected in the coming days, to advance in the immunization plan.

The national president announced that the government is looking for vaccines destined for the Venezuelan children and young people: “vaccines that have been tested and proven effective” in this sector of the population, he assured.
