ANC held its first open debate in Ezequiel Zamora Park

This Sunday, the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) held its first open debate in which it will board the draft Law against hate, intolerance, and for peaceful coexistence.

From the spaces of the Ezequiel Zamora Park, located in El Calvario, Caracas, the session was headed by the President of the Constituent Power, Delcy Rodriguez.

“This is a process for knowing the truth, determining responsibility for justice. We will reach peace through justice”, said Rodriguez during the People’s Assembly.

The ANC’s Commission for Truth held public hearings this Saturday with citizens who were victims of the violent events that occurred during the 120 days of violent street demonstrations called by the opposition leadership, which left a balance of more than 100 dead people, as well as damages to public and private institutions.

During her speech, the Constituent also announced that on Friday, September 1, Venezuelans will know the measures that the Bolivarian Government will implement in response to the aggressions and threats made against the country by the United States.

“For Venezuela being a country with great resources to be a power, the imperial forces made a fence in order to affect the Venezuelan people. They already removed their masks when announcing the sanctions against the Venezuelan people”, she said.

Rodríguez warned that those political leaders who requested the intervention and the economic blockade against Venezuela should be investigated, in order to determine their responsibility.

“This cannot go unpunished, those who called, from Venezuela or abroad, to blockade the Homeland should be investigated. We cannot forget what are they capable of”, she said.
