CEOFANB orders to raise the level of protection, security and defense in the Orinoco Oil Strip

In order to prevent attacks and sabotage against the oil industry, the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), A / J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, met with the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

According to a message published on the Twitter account of the CEOFANB @libertad003, the Admiral in Chief issued instructions of a strategic nature to raise the level of protection, security and defense of the Hugo Chávez Frías Orinoco Oil Strip.

The measure is taken after on December 11, the Venezuelan Government denounced a failed sabotage against the El Palito refinery, in Carabobo state, by a terrorist cell trained in Colombian territory. State security forces captured two Venezuelans with 47 kilograms of high-power explosive material.

Ceballos has ratified on several occasions that “the Bolivarian National Armed Forces remains united, working to actively participate in the Integral Development of the Nation (…) the Bolivarian National Armed Forces are here in the blocks of the Orinoco Oil Strip, Carabobo, Ayacucho, Junín and Boyacá to guarantee the security of the nation and the future of Venezuela ”.
