Cabello: Venezuela was chosen by US imperialism as a laboratory for aggression

This Thursday, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during a videoconference entitled “Blockade in times of pandemic: DEC-6’s Parliamentary Elections”, detailed that Venezuela was chosen by US imperialism as a laboratory for actions that seek to destabilize its economy and create chaos, however, the people of Venezuela have shown every day their level of consciousness to face all the mechanisms of war that the United States Government has implemented.

Less than two months into an electoral process, Venezuela continues to be the victim of attacks and sanctions by the US government, which only tries to damage the economy and sovereignty of the country.

He recalled that Venezuela is in an election process, for which more than 14,000 candidates representing 100 political parties have registered, which shows the democracy that exists in the country, although many try to create a campaign that shows the opposite.

“On December 6, we are not only going to comply with Venezuela, but with the world, because we know that the hope of the peoples of the planet, who are fighting for their freedom, is here in a people that loves the homeland.”

He indicated that the representatives of the opposition who have promoted the blockade and sanctions against the country, have committed with the United States to turn Venezuela into a protectorate with what that implies, that is, armed invasion and abuse of our people.

He also accused the European Union of being an instrument of the US to do dirty things against Venezuela by submissively complying with the orders of North American imperialism, like other countries on the continent that traditionally attach to the policies of the White House.

For her part, the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Argentina, Stella Lugo, during her participation in the Videoconference, assured that the United States has subdued the Venezuelan people through unilateral sanctions, thus creating a cruel and inhuman war and affecting in a way direct to the Venezuelan people.

She indicated that the sanctions have prevented having more than 30 billion dollars of oil exports, which have been used to care for the pandemic, in addition, they have blocked international credit to be able to acquire medicines and food for the people with the objective to harm the country.
