The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, asked on Tuesday to the Minister for Youth and Sports, Pedro Infante, to continue to maintain and strengthen the investment for the development and massification of sports in Venezuela, as well as the attention to high performance athletes:
“We must maintain investment in sports, we must maintain attention in sports. The university, community sports games, the massification of sport and attention to sportsmen and high-performance athletes”, he said.
Regarding the victories obtained by the generation of gold that participates in the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018, he said that “the generation of gold continues to shine and rise”.
He said that with alliances with China, Cuba or Russia, Venezuelan athletes can continue to develop to continue giving joy to the country with their triumphs.
