Following, the full text:
“The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela informs the international community that the officers accredited to the Government of the Republic of Costa Rica have departed the country in their condition s diplomatic officers, according to the deadline established by the authorities of that country.
However, the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela denounces that the government of Costa RIca has flagrantly violated articles 22 and 25 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, by allowing, by action or omission, the violent occupation of our embassy in San José.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela denounces this improper behavior by a government that promotes as a model of democracy and respect for the Diplomatic and Consular conventions, when in reality it has created a nefarious precedent of disrespect and disowning of the international law.
In this sense, Venezuela holds responsible to the government of Costa Rica for any loss and violation of the goods, archives and documents of the Embassy, according to article 24 of the Vienna Convention.
Likewise, the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela has decided to withdraw the diplomatic credential to Mr. Danilo González Ramirez, who was working as Chargé d’ affaires of the republic of Costa Rica in Venezuela.
It is noteworthy that the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reserves any other reciprocate diplomatic measure that may be deemed necessary to compensate for this unacceptable aggression against the personnel and the facilities of the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission in Costa Rica”.
