FOREIGN AFFAIRS
COMMUNIQUÉ:
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela categorically rejects the statements broadcast on radio-electrical media by the Secretary of State of the United States on April 17 this year, seeking to undermine the democratic stability in Venezuela.
The US Government incurs again on its intrusive and interventionist obsession against Venezuela, violating the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter and in clear contravention of international law.
Secretary Kerry’s statements evidence the participation and responsibility of the US Government in the interventionist and insurrectional plan against democracy in Venezuela, and encourage the violent and extreme factors to resort to unconstitutional means to overthrow the legitimate Government of President Nicolas Maduro.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will respond in all scenarios that the US Government may promote to attack again against the democracy in our country, while we uphold the rule of the national and international law to preserve the integrity and peace of Venezuela. With our Liberator Simon Bolivar we say: «Love for the Homeland shall overcome».
