Cabello on exclusion from the Summit of the Americas: It is the United States exercising its arrogance

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello declared that “there is no reason for Venezuela and Cuba to be excluded from the Summit of the Americas.”

This was stated during the press conference of the red party registered this Monday, where he stressed that this action shows the imperialist arrogance that characterizes the governments of the United States:

There is no reason for Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua to be excluded from these meetings just because the United States decides so. The United States has established a position and surely if they are not present, that will be part of the debate. The United States is exercising its arrogance, the arrogance of imperialism”, he said.

Cabello added that with this decision “the Summit of the Americas without us” for which he pointed out that “hopefully they reflect and realize that here there is a government legitimately elected by the people, under their methodology”.
