The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, urged the more than 15 million Venezuelans registered in the “Carnet de la Patria” (Homeland Card) system, to consolidate the electoral victory in the upcoming regional elections planned for October 15.
“Attention (…) Let’s get prepared, because we have a new electoral battle for peace, for the sovereignty and happiness of the 23 states, the 4 by 4 (system) on alert … we are the only guarantee of peace in this country (…)” Does Venezuela wants peace? Here are the men and women for peace, for work, for prosperity (… ) I share the demand of our people of that we must overcome ourselves”, he said.
The National President emphasized the commitment of the current governors and the candidates for the regional elections.
“It fills me with great motivation, because I see in these men and women, future governor men and women of the country the knowledge, the experience and the desire to work, that is why I have approved these resources for the projects that have been presented to me, and thus I have confidence and faith in approving all the resources that are needed”, he said.
