In response to various questions from national and international media present at the Supreme Court of Justice, the Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, gave several points of view with arguments presented, prior to his appearance. Asked about the Carter Center, he stated that this institution is run by officials under salary by the George Soros Foundation and its current spokesperson, Jennifer MacCoy, who is an employee of the (US) State Department.
He stressed that they came to Venezuela prejudiced with a report already prepared, and subsequently certifying that there was no cyber attack in Venezuela and thereby obscuring what is already publicly known.
The Venezuelan President denounced that there were 30 attacks per minute on the electronic systems of the National Electoral Council (CNE), also warning that currently all institutions in Venezuela are under attack, the Executive Branch, the Electoral Branch and the Judicial Branch.
He clarified that the only country in the world that produces and controls the internet in the world is the United States of America: «it is the biggest secret of the US» since it has the machines and the way to export the internet to all countries, with a level of control and technological action to dominate the system.
He recalled the general blackout of 2019 in Venezuela through a cyber attack on the National Electric System (SEN), which lasted several days, and that they tried to do something similar on July 28, for which he has asked the Venezuelan justice institutions to investigate where the attack came from, which he described as an eminently cybernetic, fascist and criminal coup d’état.
He stressed that the Carter Center has no instrument or capacity to say that there was no cyber attack in Venezuela: “They have bid farewell through the sad door of lies in this electoral history.”
