US sanctions will boost Venezuela’s relations with new world power bloc

The President of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Delcy Rodríguez, reiterated that this instance of the Original Power has among its objectives to overcome the oil rentier model.

“Venezuela is destined to become a great power, it is inevitable, because it is the main reserve of oil, gas, mining, water resources on the planet. Venezuela is very appetizing for the imperial centers”, she said during a press conference with international media.

She asserted that, in order to break and overcome this model in crisis, of oil revenue, the ANC aims to make the economic model productive and diversified in its different spheres.

Rodriguez explained that the US sanctions seek to put Venezuela in a fence, and in order to overcome them, the country must deepen its strategic relations with the new poles of world power.

“But Venezuela is opening itself to a new world, which is not led by the US. Even that leadership is in decline. There is another world that leads it in different poles … a multi-polar and multi-center world. ”

She said that, to overcome the sanctions, Venezuela has established relations with this new world that exercises leadership to guarantee peace, security and stability at the international level.

“They are factors of balance against the imperial powers that for decades have subjected humanity to dangerous situations, has suffered massive, to deaths. Russia, China, the BRICs appear as that emerging pole of rebalancing in the world”, she said.

She considered that the sanctions imposed by the US to Venezuela will promote the development of strategic relations with the new poles of power.
