Representatives from Human Rights Watch arrived in Caracas to meet with the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, to formally address the Human Rights Strengthening Agenda.
The institutional session focused on the adoption of measures to foster pluralism of expression and consolidate an environment of greater democratic coexistence within the country.
The meeting allowed to review the strategic initiatives promoted by the National Executive in matters of fundamental guarantees and to ratify the commitment to strengthening peace, diplomacy, and coordinated efforts with multilateral organizations.
