Venezuela rejects Obama's interventionist and arrogant statements

The National Government rejected on Tuesday the “interventionist and arrogant” statements given by the President of the United States, Barack Obama, who disowned the legitimate Government of the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro.
Through a statement released by the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, the Executive qualifies the words of the leader of the North American nation as “a frank interference in the political life of our Homeland” and a violation of the principles of International Law and of the Charter of the United Nations.
The document ensures that such actions encourage “openly” to the violent factors operating in our country “to overthrow the constitutional and legitimate Government of President Nicolas Maduro Moros”.
In the text the Venezuelan people is invited to “hold high the anti-imperialist flags to defeat the  historical arrogance of the U.S.” in defense of the independence and self-determination of the Homeland.
Following, the full Communiqué:
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela condemns the interventionist and arrogant statements by the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, which disowns the legitimate and Constitutional Government of Venezuela.
To expressly disown the Government elected by the people of Venezuela violates basic norms and principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, such as the principle of non-interference in internal affairs, the principle of self-determination and sovereign equality of the States.
The Venezuelan democratic system enshrined in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, provides guarantees for the direct exercise of the People’s will and power as there is not in any other country. Civil and political rights of the Venezuelans are fully guaranteed in this sacred land of Liberators.
Can the President of the United States of America say with absolute property that the right to democracy is guaranteed in his country, when his legitimacy emanates from a diffuse suffrage in elections of a second grade, where are expressed cupolas of citizens represented in electoral colleges? The political system in the United States is deeply elitist, based on the ability of influence of corporate capitals in substitution of the will of the people. It is the industrial, military, financial and media complex who, in a supra-popular and institutional way rules in the United States.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects the statements by the US President, for constituting a frank interference in the political life of our Homeland, and which openly encourages to the violent  factors to overthrow of the Constitutional and legitimate Government of President Nicolas Maduro.
Already our Liberator had warned, more than two centuries ago, on the predator role of the U.S. system in the life of our Region. Now and forever we repeat, from the anti-imperialist soul of our people, that there is no possible force that may bow down the freedom and independence of Venezuela.
With our Liberator Simon Bolivar in a letter to Mr. Irvine on October 7, 1818, we respond to President Obama: “It seems that you are attempting to force me to reciprocate your insults: I will not do so; but I do protest to you indeed that I will not allow to insult or despise the Government and the rights of Venezuela. By defending them against Spain had gone missing a large part of our population, and the remaining rest is eager to deserve the same fate. It is the same for Venezuela, to fight against Spain than to do so against the entire whole world, if the entire world offends it”.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela calls on its people to hold high the anti-imperialist flags to defeat the historical arrogance of the U.S., in defense of self-determination, independence and peace of our Homeland.
“LOVE TO THE HOMELAND WILL OVERCOME”. Simon Bolivar
