The Minister of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, held a video conference with the Expanded General Staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB). During this activity, which was held as part of the 19th anniversary of the Strategic Operational Command of the FANB (CEOFANB), Cabello emphasized the unity of all components to continue defending the sovereignty of the territory hand in hand with the People, «as Commander Hugo Chávez taught us.»
He also reaffirmed the value of consolidating the civic-military-police union through different actions and tasks, since the police are an important part of the work carried out in the CEOFANB: «We must go further, strengthen this union, shape it, make it more robust through action,» he said, and pointed out that it is also necessary to shape the processes of humanization of tasks, in terms of security and training.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of People’s Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, the Vice Ministers for the Defense portfolio, as well as the commanders of each of the components of the FANB.
Likewise, the CEOFANB also participated in this event with its entire territorial defense system, with the citizen security organizations and representatives of the Ministry of People’s Power for Transportation.
