The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, urged the candidates and members of the Bolivarian Government this Monday to continue strengthening the Peace Quadrants, a public policy on citizen security that guarantees peace and the life of the Venezuelan people:
“In the third transformation, we must continue making progress in the Peace Quadrants; we have made great progress in this area,” he stated.
In this regard, when referring to the return of compatriots to the country, the president condemned the campaign sponsored by the far right wing: “I have commented to Minister Diosdado Cabello about a social media campaign financed by the far right wing, represented by María Machado, in which they claim that, as migrants are returning, criminals are also returning… Let’s stand up with the Peace Quadrants and let our people tell the truth,” he stated.
Finally, the President of the Republic emphasized: “Whoever violates the law will face justice. Let’s continue consolidating a country of security, peace, and tranquility; it is a great task,” he concluded.
