The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, highlighted the proposals that were presented during the 12th Extraordinary Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP).
With the aim of promoting the 2025 struggle agenda and the defense of the sovereignty of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, the countries that make up ALBA-TCP announced the following proposals:
– The human rights of migrants, in which international standards are met for their safe, protected return, if necessary, to our countries.
– Creation of the credit system for the reintegration of enterprising migrants.
– Dismantling of the criminal organizations of human trafficking known as «Coyotes.»
– Was proposed the holding of the Agro-ALBA Fair.
– Was proposed to move towards a transport agreement for economic and tourism projects.
– Practical activation of the Intra-ALBA artificial intelligence research and application center.
– The ALBA – Azul proposal is to be studied.
It is proposed to set a date in the first week of March for a meeting in which the foreign ministers and the ministers of agriculture, as well as those linked to fishing, the economy, transport, trade, energy, science and technology, will participate, in order to address the conclusions, the ideas for action, and to be able to sign the commitment documents and the action plans on all these topics on the agenda.
