The Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, described the Colombian Foreign Minister, Carlos Holmes Trujillo as immoral, for requesting more sanctions against officials of the government of Nicolás Maduro.
Through his Twitter account, Arreaza dismissed the request of his neogranadinean counterpart, because in his opinion the political class of that country maintain links with drug trafficking.
«Chancellor Carlos Holmes is immoral when requesting sanctions against Venezuelans, when the Colombian political class has carnal links with drug trafficking, paramilitary violence and systematically violates the human rights of its citizens», wrote Arreaza.
The pronouncement of the Venezuelan Chancellor arises after Holmes asked the international community to intensify the sanctions against the Venezuelan Government.
