Covid Balance for April 12, 2021:
925 new contagions, 867 Community cases and 58 imported cases were reported this Monday, April 12, 2020, by the Presidential Commission for the Prevention and Control of Covid-19 in Venezuela.
Caracas is the entity with the highest number of cases, with 142 active contagions in 20 parishes, followed by Miranda state with 128, and Yaracuy with 107. Unfortunately 17 Venezuelans died from Covid-19 in Anzoátegui, Nueva Esparta, Táchira , Cojedes, Caracas and Sucre states, to whose Families and Friends extend sincere condolences.
At 393 days of the pandemic, 175,812 is the total number of contagion, 158,399 patients have recovered, 15,618 cases are currently active and 1,795 Venezuelans have unfortunately died.
In this week of economic flexibilization, all citizens are urged to extreme security measures to together give the battle to the virus.
