The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that 60 percent of the projects voted on in the Popular Consultation of this February 2 have already been awarded by the National Electoral Council (CNE).
In the edition of “Maduro Live De Repente” (Maduro Live – Suddenly), he indicated – with a chart in hand – that this has been a great work of participation, while congratulating the principal and alternate rectors of the Electoral Power:
“(…) Exercising the functions of the dreams of the Blue Book”, stressed the President in reference to the emblematic text of Commander Hugo Chávez, in which the actions are outlined as part of the perfect binomial people and government.
In this regard, the national dignitary specified that after Sunday’s session, there are 3,205 communal circuits, and the same number of projects, namely, in the areas of water; followed by Education, Habitat Improvements, Electricity, Roads, Health, Sports, Primary Production, Environment, Public Transport, Culture, Communal Gas, Related Services, Slope Stabilization, Telecommunications, Industrial Transformation, Citizen Security and Tourism.
In this regard, the mayor of the Bolivarian municipality of Libertador, Admiral in Chief Carmen Meléndez specified that in Caracas, the projects that prevailed were those related to the replacement of roofs, acquisition of water tanks, repair of elevators, as well as roads, drinking water pipes and sewage pipes.
As part of the expansion of democracy and the empowerment of the people, the head of State reviewed how the voters were guided this February 2 in the Popular Consultation.
Along these lines, the Minister of People’s Power for Communes and Social Movements highlighted the organization with which the first popular consultation of 2025 was carried out, indicating that the people is empowered.
He highlighted the ability of the Bolivarian people to move forward, while the President recalled that: «we learned to do a lot with nothing and then we learned to do a lot with little.»
When speaking about the exercise of direct transfer to the people, of planning and execution from the bases, in the edition of «Maduro Live De Repente», there was a discussion about how the assemblies in which the communes and communal councils participate are convened, as part of the strategic planning from the territory.
Communal organization advances in Antímano:
In addition to discussing this first popular consultation, President Maduro made a televised contact with the Antímano parish, specifically with the José Félix Ribas Socialist Commune, in which the progress in terms of its organization was confirmed, since it has two social production companies and multiple family production units.
The head of State reviewed the progress of the rehabilitation of educational spaces in the populous parish of the city of Caracas, in the middle of the “El Sofa” (The Couch) segment of the Maduro Live De Repente program.
