President Maduro expresses regret for the death of his counterpart Ebrahim Raisi

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his dismay at the unfortunate physical death of his counterpart from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, in a plane accident on the border with Azerbaijan.

The publication was made by the head of state through his account on the X social network @NicolasMaduro, where he noted that the first combatant woman is a friend of Raisi’s wife: “Cilia and I are overcome with great pain for having to say goodbye to an exemplary person, an extraordinary leader of the world as he is and will be forever. our brother, an excellent human being, defender of the sovereignty of his people and an unconditional friend of our country.”

Likewise, he extended condolences to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, from Bolivarian lands, he wished that he would find divine consolation in the face of such sensitive losses:

We join the feeling that overwhelms the families and our Iranian brothers in these difficult moments,” wrote President Maduro, while sending a fraternal greeting to all the Iranian people, “you, Iran, are an example of dignity, moral and resistance.”
