President Maduro calls for compliance with measures against Covid-19

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, sent a message through his social networks to reiterate his call to the people of Venezuela to comply with the measures against Covid-19 with discipline and conscience:

“We are facing the Pandemic with a well-articulated plan, with a great medical, scientific and hospital capacity, with 14,000 medical brigades, the treatments and due controls to protect health. It is only up to you, compatriot! With your discipline and conscience, we shall overcome!”, wrote the Head of State on the Twitter social network.

The Venezuelan President’s message about the importance of hygiene protocols to prevent Covid-19, is made after it was known the latest number of infections in the country, which reached 7,693 cases. Of these, 2,100 people have recovered, and 71 have died.

The Government of Venezuela has been emphatic in complying with bio-safety measures, as well as the preventive and social quarantine.

Venezuela was the first country on the continent to announce protection measures in the face of the arrival of Covid-19, which maintains it as one of the countries with the lowest number of people affected by the pandemic.
